Well, at least I'm honest, and label it as spam.

Hard to believe. Maybe if you don't get any newspapers or magazines or live in the Amazon forest, you're not swamped with HF coupons.

BTW, went there Sunday and they were out of the free flashlights and clerk tried to charge me full price for the two items I bought even though I had handed him the coupons.

Wait!

Let me check my copy of Popular Science, Reader's Digest, the Sunday paper, the multiple emails, the multiple online links, the mass snail- mail flyers, the *personalized* snail-mail flyers, the bin at the store and all the other sources of HF coupons that I have access to.

Maybe this guy has a coupon I'm missing. Might be worth a buck. Hey, Free Shipping too!

My experience is that they are often out of the free flashlights on the weekend, with "more expected on Monday."

Chuckle. Last two times I went in there, they handed the flashlight, the item I bought, and the bedsheet of coupons back to me. No pen marks through the ones I used, much less tearing them out. They don't even care any more.

I'll never use up the stack of coupons I have from the Sunday papers, before they expire or they run out of the flashlights. Next freebie is little crap screwdriver sets- not worth finding excuses to stop there while I am out running errands. I'll only go when I actually need something, instead of just building up shelf stock on disposable tools for cars/office, and various consumables. 25 flashlights are probably enough anyway. I wonder how many they have handed out chain-wide at this point?
