If you get some heat from the dryer would that mean the heating coil is not the problem.?

ot the problem.?
not necessarily i saw one that would open while heating so you would get some heat but not enough.
a long time ago i helped fix one with 2 seperate elements, the low wattage element got hot but the high wattage elelment was open broke.
drying time was glacially slow
