Amazing!
Do people really fall for that crap?
(String motor is metallic beads on a string you pull past a magnet.)
Everyone knows, you move a conductor in a magnetic field, you induce a current. With the device described, pull the string all day, you might light an LED for a few seconds.
Is it mental illness that draws people to this stuff? The big evil corporation oppressing the masses. You have to be paranoid to go for this stuff.
To believe the scientific part, you just have to be ignorant with a dose of stupid.
