rust removal

Does anyone know what will remove rust spots from a kitchen sink. (cast iron/porcelain)??

CLR works fairly well (use patience and let it do its job.) Also leave some straight cholrine bleach on the stains overnight.

Use "Iron Out" sold by the household chemicals at any dept.store. Read the directions first. It will definitely make rust disappear.

Oxalic acid works best. It is available in Zud, just sprinkle a little on the dampened stain, let it set covered with a wet paper towel for a while (overnight if possible).

John

Barkeepers Friend removes rust, but this stuff is abrasive. Use CLR.
