Bought a house recently. Refrigerator seems to run a lot. Someone said the new ones are supposed to run more often due to a smaller compressor, and they are more efficient than older ones. Does anyone KNOW the facts?

Check/clean the condenser to be sure it is not full of dust. Also check the door gaskets for leaks.
Thanks, now if I could find the condenser.
