Refrigerator LED lights all flickering (even in the freezer)

Is the flickering vibration related?

Do the lights flicker when the compressor is running?

When the compressor is off?

None of that. The lights flicker all the time. No matter what. I'm wondering if there is some kind of "led control module"?

Maybe reboot the refrigerator by unplugging power for 30 seconds or so.

OR

Loose connection? Wherever a wiring harness plugs into a component, there's a chance for loose connection.

Thanks. I've rebooted the refrigerator a thousand times since it started flickering and I've taken out & put back the modules once also.

I googled a bit more and found it's an extremely common problem.

1. The main front top LED control module plus a light W10515058
2. There's also an LED light near the bottom back of the frig W10515057
3. And another LED light in the middle back of the freezer W10515057

   By all accounts Whirlpool has no idea how to design LED boards. They all go "beserk" and start flashing within a couple of years.

Quality will improve after all the old boomers retire. They have a lot of stupid ways.

Yah, the refrigerator manufacturer's design is overly complex. They replaced a simple system of standard inexpensive candelabra base LED bulbs with expensive proprietary light modules. WTF were they thinking?

I think I'd rip that garbage out and install some 12v LED peel-n-stick ribbon lighting.

They were thinking they wanted to be able to label it as using less electricity.

For the 5 to 8 minutes aday that the door is open - sure.
