JUst a quick question. How cold is the ref. suppose to stay in the summer with the inside house temp at about 78 deg.? Also how cold is the freezer side suppose to be. Thanks, gary

refrig side should freeze if you want it to,deep freeze side-20 or more, if your coils have been cleaned and it doesnt work right call a repairman

The temps are related to food safety and preservation -- not to outside temperature. If you are concerned, buy a thermometer.

The refrigerator should be between 34 and 40. Lower than 34 you have freezing problems. Over 40 you have spoilage problems. Note that the fridge temperature will not be the same through out the compartment.

The freezer should be below 0 degrees. If it varies, put short-term foods (ice cream, etc. -- at least this is short-term in my house) in the warmer spots.
