orignal post over 20 years ago! They were actually made in USA ! not China...what a concept. Here is something that I tested...3 speed fans. Using a device that measures, Voltage, Amps, Watts, power factor (and more)... the results for the 3 speed fan was 30,32,35 watts. low, medium, high. Watt (pun) this means is that the fan hardly uses anymore powere at high speed then low. Run it at any speed comfortable, as the cost is only pennies a month different.!
