30# felt 1/2" foam sheets with taped joints 1" air gap stoneLooked at Building Science site, but getting mixed up. One place seems to say use Tyvek under foam, but another says not to use Tyvek with brick/stone. If it makes a difference: near Austin, TX = hot, humid climate
What is the stone attached to
Stone (veneer) attached like brick (veneer) to wood frame: lays atop a ledge, joined with portland cement & masonry wall ties (nailed to wall). This is "real" stone, not "manufactured" stone.
