Non programmable thermostat

Can anyone recommend a high quality non programmable thermostat. The programmable one is too much for my parents. Needs to cover gas heat plus ac. Thanks.

That's a good one...

This is a simple one - the updated T87. You just turn the dial to set.

There are non programmable electronic stats. honeywell does make a replacement for the t87 which is round but is electronic. I forget the number but it also has a good size temp readout. Depending on what state you live in you may need to stay with an electronic model as some have banned mercury stats.

And what if he lives in a state that has banned mercury thermostats?
