Need toilet seat recommendations

Hi All,

I have a

K-3589 Kohler, Cimarron® w/class 6 technology (1.6 gallon) Toilet

with a

K-4647 Kohler, Stonewood closed-front toilet seat (elongated)

One of the bumper on the seat (not lid) is crushed. Kohler says that the bumpers are not replaceable.

Don't suppose there is a glue on fix for this?

If not, can you recommend a

White Wood

replacement seat. I can get the Stonewood from Home Depot, but maybe there are better ones you guys would recommend

Many thanks,

-T

I just looked down the crushed end of the bumper and the stinkers are press in.

Perhaps these bumpers from ACE Hardware would work for you

"These bumpers are used for replacing toilet seat and lid snap-in, screw-in and tack bumpers."

I have them on both toilets here. Work well after 6 years. Had them in the last house too. Reasonable price, comfortable, soft close. #36 at Amazon.

They always say things like that. Don't bother me boy, I'm busy.

If the seat is wood, as I found out it is, you can buy a toilet seat bumper that comes with built-in nails. If it's not the same height as the other side, you can pry off the other side and replace it too. I'll let you work out the other two.

This was rather ambiguous but Retired made it clear.

Sounds perfect.

I am going to ace tomorrow. I called ahead and they said they had them: isle 8. Beats a new toilet seat.

Thank you!
