I have an electric lawn mower with a 100 foot cord. Which gets in the way, especially when I back up.
I find I can't really back up. I have to turn around instead.
Also, I find I can't easily do long 20 to 30 foot parallel stretches because the return runs over the cord. I have to do short five or ten foot parallel sections instead. Or the cord gets to be more work than the mowing.
What adaptations have you had to do to use thee new fangled mowers? And is there a decent cord reel that you can suggest for me.
I'm thinking it would be heavily weighted and sitting on the ground. Then it would reel out 50 feet as I go down a parallel strip. Then reel it back as I return.
Does that exist?
