Labor Force Participation Rate for 25-29 Year-Old americans Hits Record Low

So how's that recovery go'in - eh?

What a crock of a country you are. Your decade-long invasion and destruction of Iraq and occupation of Afghanistan has left your economy in ruins - at least for 80% of you.

Instead of retiring, you now have to hang on to your jobs to pay the deductibles for your obama-care, depriving your kids of jobs and wrecking their prospects of moving out of your basements and forming their own households.

Since you've bought into the village idiot's BS of connecting wars to high unemployment, you should have some good statistical proof that they are in any way related. The fact that you dragged body bags into it suggests you're off in space. A few thousand body bags over 13 years has a measurable effect on a $17 tril economy? Good grief. Military spending is still near an all time high. For a period when there was a real significant decline, look to the 90s, when the Cold War had ended. If there was a shred of credibility to your argument, then the 90s should have been a period of high unemployment and a screwed economy. In fact, from the early 80's through the 90's we had one of the strongest economic performances in history.

If you want the real source of poor economic performance, you need look no further than Obama's failed economic policies. His $800bil stimulus centered on govt spending didn't produce much. He raised income taxes that hit small business owners, where most new jobs are created. He's constantly railing about how unfair America is, how the deck is stacked against you unless you're rich, so why would anyone want to go out, get a job? Instead we have the govt running ads encouraging people to apply for food stamps. Is it any surprise we have record numbers of people on food stamps and welfare? And finally, we have corporations that have $2tril in profits parked overseas because the USA has one of the highest corp tax rates in the world. We need to lower the corp rate while at the same time getting rid of the crazy loopholes. Republicans have been in favor of that for years, Dems only want to close the loopholes. And a special even lower tax holiday for corps that bring money back from overseas in say the next 18 months and put it to work here would be a great idea to. But you see none of that from Obama. He has no economic plan, so all he does is bitch and divide.
