I do not understand your point. Thalidomide was developed in Germany, Chemie Grünenthal, around 1953.

Are you suggesting that because Europe, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Japan and numerous other countries approved the use of Thalidomide in the 1950's, that somehow condemns Japanese pharmaceuticals of the 21st century?
