The massive chlorine load in most "city water" kills virtually all pathogens. The level in DC water was "ideal" on a swimming pool tester (3 PPM). Most old city water systems have lead in the water and if your house has copper pipe installed before the mid 80s you are adding more from the solder. WSSC (DC) was telling us to run the water for a minute before you drank it to flush out "your" lead. They didn't talk about "their" lead. A lot of the DC water system still used lead pipe. I don't know if they ever fixed it. It may explain some of the things congress does tho.
Sorry, but that just reminded me of a joke.
Did you know that Natalie Wood didn't like to take showers?
She preferred to wash up on shore.
You do not have to worry about foxes. They are proud of their accomplishment and like to display it in a prominent area like on top of a flat rock.
Maybe that's it. We don't have many foxes but I've always wondered as I walk up a rocky trail what sort of animal prefers to squat on a rock to s*it.

I guess it does; lead in their blood, lead in the ass, lead in their mind. No I don't mean brains, there are none there.
