Put some termites in your ice cube trays/bin in the freezer. They will have nothing to eat so they will eat ice. They will learn to like it and survive on it. Then turn them loose in the affected area.

well, since 10000 lbs of ice is about (10000 /62.42) =3D (5 ft)^3... i don't see why this is such a big deal. just hit it with an axe!
