About a year before they built this house they stopped installing new natural gas lines. Maybe gas was becoming scarce. Today in a big development a mile away they are installing new natural gas lines as gas is abundant.
Our whole house is now electric. My wife likes the cleanliness and prefers electric water heater and range.
That is about half the price of my CT supplier. Enjoy it, few people will at that price.
The thing is , that's a year's supply of propane for us . We use the backup heater some when it's not cold enough to need a fire and of course when we aren't home for a day or two in winter . Other than that it's only used for the kitchen stove .
Made me look up "French drain".
