the flame sensor is good and the gas valve seems to be also

Do you smell gas.

How do you know the gas valve is good? Is there gas at the furnace? If the igniter is glowing, the next step is for the controller to open the gas valve. Any blinking LEDs? If there is gas there, then it sounds like either a bad valve or bad control board. Voltage at the valve when it's trying to light?
