Want to know if I can safely interrupt a big ceramic floor tile job overnight. Need to pause about in the middle of it. Tile is 5/16" ceramic in thinset mortar. I think I'll be alright if I clean the wet mortar off the Hardibacker underlayment right up to the newly laid tile before it sets up and then start at that point with fresh stuff and spacers the next morning.
