Battery Pack for Black & Dekcer Grass Hog

Apr 10, 2006 1 Replies

I have had the grass hog for about 5 years now.. and each year it holds its charge less and less.. Is it common for the SLA battery to just wear out over the years?

thanks

jim

Yes, SLA batteries are notorious for losing their full-charge over the years. SLA batteries lose their charge most when they're not being used often.

Also, Abuse to the battery (dropping or hitting), moisture, and extreme heat can all add to the loss of charge for your grass hog.

Hope you get a few more good years out of your grass hog Jim. Good luck.
