This is not a water problem, it's just very old brick that needs sealing, any recommendations would be helpful

It's not clear what exactly what needs sealing, the picture isn't very clear. If it's a gap between the cleanout metal and the brick, there are a variety of caulking products that come in a tube for a caulk gun that are made for masonary.
