MARYSVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Turf products firm Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. on Wednesday said it has streamlined its management ranks by 15 percent, effective immediately, and is studying additional reductions to curtail costs and bolster earnings.
The company said it expects full-year results to come in below expectations, despite higher-than-forecast sales, due to costs related to compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and expenses incurred in contesting antitrust litigation.
