There is some truth to that, Steveo. There is some green stuff I have seen them spray on bermuda in the winter to keep it green looking. Don't know exactly what it is, Dye maybe? or you could plant winter rye in the fall. It will die in the late spring. Looks nice and green and eats up lots of water if you have a drainage problem. Just have to cut the grass some though.
