the symptoms of an overcharged refrigeration system? Is it hard on the system? Will it blow a fuse? Will it lock up the compressor?
If you over charge one of those Danfoss compressors it will shut itself down because it will not get up to RPM I believe they run at 500rpm. Another side effect will be Overheating which will fry the control module that takes your twelve to 24 or 48 volts depending on the model and converts it to twelve volts for the diodes and the fan and acts as a voltage regulator. Speed monitor pressure monitor for the pump. Learned the hard way I am in West Africa and the refrigeration guy on the street insisted we could charge the system monitoring only the change in Motor Amperage draw. If it has any start up warnings (flashing Diodes) something is not hooked right or charged right deal with it right away.
