I have a concrete slab which presently has a 10x16 storage shed built on it. Trouble is that it was built directly on the slab. Even though it was sealed as well as could, water leaks under. I want to tear down this building and erect a proper floor model but do not know what to use as foundation. I don't want to redo the slab. Is there some kind of riser to elevate the flooring studs?

I don't know your exact situation, but you may be able to flash the shed's exterior to the outside edges of the slab...very permanent. Or, you can likely jack up the existing shed with a car jack (1-end at a time) to install a framed floor. Otherwise, Sleepers would be best. Sleepers are just 2x4's laid on their side, they should be installed with or parallel to the slab's pitch or flow path.
- You'll need to concrete screw or bolt the Sleepers down to the slab so the shed and its floor are anchored securely. Any lumber or composite lumber will do, but you want the exterior of the shed to just about touch the slab (1/4" gap) to keep out rodents and such. So, going with 4x4 or 6x6 Sleepers will probably be too much.
