Sunset Maple / Paper Birch

I plan to plant a Sunset Maple and a Paper Birch on the side of the house, what is the minimum, safe distance to avoid tree roots from doing damage to the concrete house foundation ? Is 20 feet acceptable ? An are the roots for these two trees invasive ?

Hi Plant your trees close to the house the roots are not invasive.
