I have propagated hardwood boxwoods cuttings made in the winter which have had all of the next year to grow. How are semi hardwood cuttings made in July carried over the first winter?

If they are well rooted, you can plant them directly or you can heel them in soil, while they are still in the containers. Do not bring them indoors.
