My friend from work says she would like to know the name of this plant she has. It started as a seed/bulb about the size and look of a dried up raisn. It now 5+ feet tall, flowers fire red and the look daisy like but only with 5-10 petals(not sure of how many petals). She said like a tall stem with multi flowers shooting off it. Any help is great. thanks!

Ah yes, the dreaded Anonymous ambiguus!!

You don't know what the rootstock is, what the foliage looks like or even what the flowers look like!!! That really narrows it down!!!

You lie. You do have a clue what it is. You do already know that it is an Aroid, family Araceae. That is a starting place for identification.
