I have several astilbes in my Zone 6 garden but I am having trouble with just one, a Thunbergii Straussenfeder. It starts out well each year but on the stalks that have the blossoms, about an inch or so down the stalks they wilt, turn brown and finally the blossom falls off. I cannot see anything in or around the plant, the leaves are fine but I lose the blossoms. Any suggestions? Thanks, Roseanne
