new pressure treated wood and edibles

Apr 27, 2004 1 Replies

Does anyone know how safe/dangerous the new pressure treated woods are, the ones without arsenic in their preservatives, when used as raised bed borders? And in particular, would they be dangerous when used in a fense a few feet from blueberry bushes. That is, would these new compounds make the berries unsafe to eat?

Thanks.
