Thermostat shows AC what is wrong

Honeywell-chromotherm 111. Digital display is working but not the thermostat. What is the problem

I need more info, Do you mesn the thermostat is displaying that the A/C is on? If so, have someone stand at the outdoor unit, turn the thermostat off and back on. See if the person outside can heat a click in the outside unit. Bear in mind there is a delay i the thermostat of 5 minutes after you turn it on before you will hear the click. Also, check the breaker going to the outside unit an make sure it is not tripped. There may or may not be fuses in the disconnect box at the outside unit also.
