It's difficult to say exactly what the very tiny black specks are without more information or a visual. They could be a variety of things such as dust, dirt, or even insect droppings.

However, if they are appearing specifically on your headboard in one corner of your bed, it could be a sign of an insect infestation, particularly bed bugs. Bed bugs are small, reddish-brown insects that feed on the blood of humans and animals. They often hide in cracks and crevices, including the seams of mattresses and headboards.

If you suspect that you have a bed bug infestation, it's important to take immediate action to prevent the problem from spreading. Here are a few steps you can take to address a bed bug infestation:

  1. Inspect your bed: Carefully inspect your mattress, box spring, and headboard for signs of bed bugs.
  2. Vacuum and steam clean: Thoroughly vacuum and steam clean the infested area, paying special attention to cracks and crevices where bed bugs may be hiding.
  3. Use pesticides: Use pesticides specifically labeled for use against bed bugs, following the manufacturer's instructions carefully.
  4. Prevent future infestations: Take preventative measures to avoid future infestations, such as regularly inspecting your home for signs of bed bugs, keeping your home clean and well-ventilated, and using bed bug-proof encasements on your mattress and box spring.

It's important to note that if the infestation is extensive or you are not comfortable with using pesticides, it's best to consult a professional pest control service. They have the proper knowledge, tools, and equipment to effectively eliminate a bed bug infestation.

Make a Borox paste, loose, and spread on spots. Leave for 15-30 minutes and then try scrubbing. If it works, leave a watered down solution of same on the tile to dry. The dried residual may prevent it from coming back or spreading.
