i spilled some steak sauce on the fabric of a chair, and it left a stain. anyone know how to remove it?

What's is the composition of the material? Some stain removers can damage some kinds of fabrics. Anyway, steak sauce contains vinegar, sugar, ketchup, etc. Blot with a detergent solution. If stain remains, blot with a vinegar solution (1 part vinegar, 2 parts water). You can also use a warm OxiClean solution (dissolve 1 T. to 1/3 cup hot water). Test fabric for colorfastness before using the OxiClean.

you might try Bissel "little green" Carpet formula. Bottle says for carpets and upholstery. It has a nice aroma and does a pretty good job.
