That's what it excells at the most!
The Roomba is basically a surface sweeper, NOT a vacuum.
It has no trouble picking up small gravel that gets tracked into the
kitchen from the driveway, it even picks up coins and lost earrings.
What my aunt likes BEST about hers is that it cleans up to and
sometimes even under the baseboards if they are up off the floor.
If you do have carpeting, it will not eliminate the need to vacuum,
but it will extend the periods of time between vacuumings because it
catches the junk before it gets walked down into the carpet.
My aunt does have a small long haired dog, peekapoo I think. And her
Roomba picks up the hair without messing anything up inside the
But if the dog hides a loose doolie, better find it before the Roomba
does, hi hi.....
