We just bought our first home and while it is lovely and functional, the master bathroom is pretty awful. It is narrow, cramped and totally out of date.
We want to gut it, put in a new vanity, perhaps get rid of the linen closet (to make it wider) and replace the tub/shower with just a largish shower.
Before we go looking for quotes, I want to learn how much this is going to hurt. Do relatively basic renovations like this run for a lot? Should I brace myself for $3k or $30k?
