Difference between drive pin and shot pin?

Apr 19, 2005 1 Replies

Aren't they both used to anchor a wall to the concrete? If so what is the difference?

Thank you in advance.

A drive pin normally has a "squiggle" or other offset and uses a pre- drilled hole, whereas a shot pin is usually fired from a special gun, for example RAMSET
