Imagine a koi pond with assorted fish and floating lily pads...and that creates all of the energy to power your home. With a little sushi on the side.

Ken, this is one of the things that the current state of affairs, and the current mindset, resists. People don't like change and they want to hang on to their way of doing things. That is a limitation any way you look at it. There are plenty of smart people out there that could be more creative and come up with improvements and solutions if the shackles of previous century solutions were removed.

Kids need to read more science fiction, and create more science fiction. It addresses many areas where people are not sufficiently schooled/trained/edumacated. The first science fiction book I read was Have Spacesuit, Will Travel, by Heinlein. I read it again not that long ago, and it was just as enjoyable. Good writing.

It's never been any different. Scientology, that oh-so- respectable-'religion', was founded by a 50's science fiction writer. I think it was Asimov that said something like he used to know L Ron when he was a writer and before he achieved his godhood. ;)

What, you've never seen a dog at dinnertime? Tell me that isn't praying. ;)

I am of the opinion that true spirituality is an individual internal thing and can't be communicated. The exact opposite of religion for the most part. Any particular person's take on it has exactly nothing to do with any other person's take.

Spirituality is playing one on one with God, and religion is hawking fan magazines and starting fantasy leagues.
