We, the tenants, have an older Maytag in our rental home. It stopped working with no noise at all from the machine. There are 5 of us in the house. We are going to get someone out to assess the damage, because someone believes a piece of a label from a jar got into the motor. Could this shut the machine down, or could there be other reasons why it does not run at all? Thank You.
