Unfortunately many of the subscribers to rec.woodworking won't be able to see either your post or the attached pictures because this is a text-only newsgroup and their servers drop messages with binary attachments (like images, sound files, etc) into the bit bucket - and many of the other servers strip off the attachments.
Woodworking photos are welcomed, however, on news:alt.binaries.pictures.woodworking and the usual procedure is to post text here with a comment to the effect that associated photos have been posted to abpw with the same subject line used here. One of the advantages to doing it this way is that pictures posted to abpw are archived so that anyone who misses a particular picture can go to the archive and call up a copy (which can't be done for photos posted to rec.woodworking).
Please repost to alt.binaries.pictures.woodworking - there are a lot of people who'd enjoy seeing this!
