Sink in Toilet

Why? Do you have a water supply problem?

If not, use a klagester and empty the lovely nightsoil out every year and put on the veggies.

Waterless toilets are not hugeley relevant in a country as wet as ours: But in africa they are the only way to go IMHO.

It's a good idea, certainly. The sink appears to be designed at a slight angle so that if you stand to one side of the toilet, facing the cistern, you are facing onto the sink. On the one I used out there, the water flowed out of the tap automatically (i.e. cistern filling) but fairly slowly though you had to wash your hands quickly.

Hi,

My neigbour has one, I'll ask next time I see them.

I wonder how much is saved in water rates by not having a connection to the mains sewerage system?

cheers, Pete.

Thanks.

I doubt you'll save anything unless you can prove that no drainage of any kind (bathroom, kitchen etc.) or surface water (roofs) goes into the drains.
