Why would the ASA care? What are they selling on that page? I didn't see= a special RCD on sale for, oh lets say =A31000, that didn't, allegedly, ha= ve the problems that a normal one does.

I bet if you could come up with a something that met the required electrical spec and some suitable techno babble you could flog 'em for well over =A31000...

Just think of the potential for selling an RCD with silver wire. £500 a pop just to get that extra 0.00001 dB of performance.

Funny how all this overpriced audiophool gear has PSUs that are so piss-poor that they are so dependent on the mains supply...

Any fule does. wise men know that keeping power earths separate from signal earths is the better way.

As you can get juts as good an earth loop on a radial as a ring main.

Any Fule know that to get the best bass, you need to have a MV supply wired with gold plated copper direct into a nuclear power station.

The National grid is a disgrace! leads to all forms of distortion!

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "BigWallop" saying something like:

Grabbit and Fleece, with the special Russ Andrews touch. Honestly, I've not seen such a bunch of utter shysters.

But rings are in a loop, radials aren't :-)

Hee Hee Hee!!!

I heard of an audio specialist firm called Hood, Fiddle and Kruek before. But Grabbit and Fleece is much better. :-)

There was a doctors surgery in Danbury that was run by A King, & Pain. Ann King has retired now IIRC.

What, you don't all have 2 seperate earth systems? A protective earth, and a clean earth?

I myself run multiple radials from a dedicated CU to the hi-fi rack. ( you can't share one radial between different devices! )

The CPCs are connected to the equipment chassis, the protective ground.

The signal earths are all independently fed back to a single star point 'clean earth' near the CU , using 35mm2 oxygen free copper.
