Anyone with experience of the Mighty Mac shredder?

I have one, though its got a good throughput it is constantly clogging. It is a PITA unclogging. Clearing it means removing then replacing the bar screen, which is a real fiddle.

First thing I did with mine was to remove the bar screen. It never clogs now though it means that you can't put thick stuff in the large hopper and expect it to come out finely shredded.

I tried that, but then it hardly seems to shred at all!

It depends on how big the stuff you put in it is and whether you put it in the chopper chute or the leaf hopper. In the chopper it makes no difference. In the leaf hopper, it breaks twigs and small branches (
