specialty light bulb, where to get? flame filament

Hi, Back in the 70's and 80's, you could get a light bulb that was about a

3" clear globe, normally colored red. standard threaded base, in the center was a magnet. The filament was shaped like a flame outline. When the bulb was OFF, the filament just sat still. Turn it on and the filament lights up and starts gyrating wildly around. I can't seem to find them any more. Anybody seen them?

I'm not talking about one of the neon orange style bulbs with the glass shaped like a flame that flickers softly that people use in their porch lights sometimes. This one is more of a party style light bulb.

Any help would be appreciated.

"specialty". Look for bulbs with "FLK" as part of the product code.

I remember those at spencer's gifts in the mall. Does not look like spencer's online has 'em, but maybe at the mall store...

Hi, thanks for the replies. I remember them at Spencers also. I checked the mall store the other day and didn't see them. the associate/employee there didn't know either. I also remember them at Radio Shack. They sold them in a base that had mirrors around it so it accentuated what was going on with the bulb filament.

I tried the westinghouse web site. The FLK lights all seemed to be the ones where it is a bulb that has a couple of metal plates that glow orange as the neon gas is energized.

Those are cool, but I'm looking for a light bulb where the filament moves because of a fixed magnet in the middle of the glass bulb. The filament is normally (always) in the outline of a flame and when the power is on it rapidly gyrates around. Looking for a picture on line but haven't found one yet.
