N. Texas Geothermal Install

Hi, New to this group and new to Geo. I am not a pro, but am interested in replacing my air-to-air heat pump that's on its last legs with a geothermal system. My home is about 2300 sq. ft. and sits on an acre so I may have enough room for a horizontal loop installation which I understand would be less expensive than vertical, but open to anything that works.

I am looking a couple of systems. ClimateMaster has an outside split system for retrofits like mine that would replace my current outside unit. Another system I'm looking at is McQuay's "kit" which includes everything for the do it yourselfer, but I don't know enough to do it all myself and would need some help.

I'm open to suggestions. Would like to have an installation running by the end of 2010 to take advantage of the tax credits. Any ideas? Anyone knowlegable in Geo that can take me on as a customer? I live 35 miles outside of Dallas.

You'll likely do better with a google search, than with anything you see here.

Steve Spence at Green trust (dot org) may be a big help. He knows a bit about specialized systems such as this.
