Asian pear pollination question

I have two asian pear trees on my backyard. I planted them just last year. One is 20th century variety, and the other is unknown, but definitely is not 20th century because it looks different from the other one.
Both flowered at approximetely the same time (few weeks ago), today I noticed that there were some small fruits on both trees (about 1/4" or so in diameter). I was told that the 20th century variety is self- pollinated, and I am not sure about the "unknown" one, but since there have already been some small fruits on it, can I assume that the tree in question is also self-pollinated? or perhaps, it is too early to say?
Thanks in advance,
JIMMY
