It's absolutely normal to creak...when you get a substandard installation.
One person already gave you a link to the manufacturer's site. One of the most important prep steps is to "Make sure the subfloor is flat. Any unevenness greater than 2mm (1/16'') over the length of 1 meter (40'') must be smoothed
out. It is vital that you use an underlayment or leveling compound to smooth any unevenness in the base floor. " according to the manufacturer. It's the vital step on any laminate flooring.
Sue the so called contractor you got a hack job from.
