concrete cutting

any comments experience cutting 3 inch cut in stone with carbide resin blade is appreciated

I have to 2 cuts ( to lay bx cable in a stone wall ( I do not think stone is granite) probable Manhattan schist or Fordham gneiss) cut is in side wall of apartment ( dust problems?)

interest in using silicon carbide mainly for experimenting also

I've had great luck using a 7 and 1/4 in worm drive saw with a diamond saw blade , like a hot knife in butter.

Dust will be a factor, have buddy hold a vaccum close to the cut sucking up the dust as it's created.
