water level in toilet bowl keeps dropping. just replaced tank guts.

I replaced the tank guts with fluidmaster kit. This is a recently installed mansfield toilet. The old guts would not completely shut off. Since replacing the tank guts the bowl level will not keep the proper water level. Any help that might cause this problem would be greatly appreciated.

The only things that cause those problems is that either the new flush-valve's (not fill-valve) washer isn't sealing or the flapper/flush tower (Mansfield) seal isn't sealing or seating squarely. Make sure the tank bottom is clean and clear of all debris for the flush-valve.

- For the flapper, make sure you have some minimal slack in the chain or that the right flapper came with the, it must have some overhang around the entire flush hole. If you kept the Mansfield Flush Tower (the wisest choice and beats all flappers), then it probably just needs a new washer.
