is it okay if i put my new tv in front of the light

my parents decorated my room with a lot of furniture which makes the options of me having a tv in my room very less.. but i thought about some ways and one of them is placing the tv on top of my cupboard but the problem is there is a light fixed over there do u think its safe to put a tv in front of it ? please help me

Yep, it'll just shade it, it won't smother it. On the TV side though, you want to shield any excess heat from the TV. Tape a piece of tin-foil to the TV with the shiny side out or apply the foil, shiny side in, to the light.
