I dug these boards out of a pile of trash at the local yard waste dump. They were screwed together..something like a bedframe. The are 8' long and .75 " thick. One board is 3.5" wide and the other 5.5". You can see they are quartersawn oak. The wood will make a nice night stand top and the blue screw holes will just add character.
